We rallied support from our colleagues at our Chas Everitt Constantia and Tokai offices and we were delighted as a result of their contributions to be able to assist towards the purchase of boots for these three budding sprinter who qualified to participate in the District Championships.
Their teacher, Mieke Dickason, expressed her gratitude on behalf of the kids and said they were very excited for today’s event and the possibility of making it through to Western Province level.
Mieke says the school has tasked her with the fundraising portfolio, and her next big ticket item is a much needed vehicle to transport kids to other venues that have offered the kids the use of their sports facilities.
